Modern Kitchen X Abbey Merson X Linen Kimonos from Blackbird Goods

Happy Monday. I cant believe it is week 3 of term 3 already. How good! I hate to say it but soon we are going to have to start thinking Christmas! And soon I will have no more babies at home as Patchy starts school in November. Crazy.

Here is a gorgeous modern kitchen with a moody edge to it. I love the fact that people are taking risks these days. Braver than me. The marble bench top, the concrete look walls, the touches of brass and the hearing bone floor work so well together. This seriously cool home belongs to developer Bear Agushi and his family. Bear worked on his home along side architects Workroom and clever well known stylist Simone Haag.

I recently discovered the work of artist Abbey Merson upon visiting Magpie in Hawkes Bay and I am obsessed. I am eyeing up a couple of Abbeys fun pieces for my new sunroom. The problem is I cant decide if I am wanting one of her very cool landscapes from the area that I grew up in or one of these portaits as seen above, or both teamed up together. I think I will go for the latter! Check out all of her incredible collection here.

And lastly, how cool are these luscious linen kimonos from Blackbird Goods. Perfect all year round to dress up and down. You can pre order your now and they come in a range of beautiful colours.
