I would live here...

Quick post for me today as I rush out the door to go and teach my wee 10 years olds.Love this very small but ridiculously cool apartment which I spotted over here. Particularly love the kitchen. Exposed bricks get me every single time and that black splash back is a stylish touch. Loving the cowhide which you can get here and that black chalk board is an easy DIY to achieve in your own home.

Forestry Blankets

Oh my, it really must be winter because I seem to be obsessed with woolen blankets at the moment. I am constantly scoring the net on the hunt for gorgeous blankets and throws for my home. You can imagine my delight when I came across these gorgeous Forestry blankets made by New Zealander Virginia Star Busmann. Virginia currently resides in the Netherlands and it is here that she runs Forestry. Inspired by Forestry Beach on the East Coast of New Zealand, these amazing blankets are 100% lambs wool which totally sucks me in straight away as my love for pure wool is strong. These unique piece will add texture and colour to any room, be it hung over the back of the couch or folded neatly at the end of your bed.

You can get your hands on these pure wool blankets online at Forestry Home or Everyday Needs. Be sure to pop over and check them out.

French inspired kitchen

This kitchen belongs to Danish living, French loving Christina. On trips to paris she scores the flea markets for gorgeous unique finds. What catches my eye is the exposed bricks, those charcoal tolix chairs, the pendant lights and those awesome open kitchen shelves. To get this look try here at New Zealand company Boudi who specialise in French styled seating and lighting.

Vinatge Country

I am a bit of a sucker for a touch of vintage and a dash of country in ones home. These gorgeous images from the coastal Australian home owned by art lover Kerry Grover demonstrates just that. This home has been painted predominantly white to create a light an airy feeling which offers openness and space. With various touches such as the french farm house sink, this is a real winner in my book.

LUST HAVES

Happy Monday to you all. Bit of a gloomy day in my neck of the woods. Winter is really upon us but that is okay. Fire is cranking, oven is all ready to bake up a storm and wee Frankie is sleeping soundly. Not such a busy week for me this week so expect the blog to be getting lots of attention.

Just purchased these wee beauties from Number One Shoes would you believe?

Loving this look

Just a wee image that floats my boat from April and May

I Should really get knitting. Love this chunky look.

NEED.THIS.IN.MY.LIFE from LET LIV

More coolness from April and May

I wanted to kick off the week with a few of my current lust haves as of late. Some I might be able to treat myself to. (Infact one I have) Others I can only dream about. All the same, I am lusting after these things in a big way right now. Oh and if you have followed Milo and Mitzy for a while now, it is no secret that I am mad about tan leather.

Converted Farmhouse

Not many words from me today apart from the fact that I am majorly crushing on this converted Swedish farmhouse. Like majorly! Husband and wife team Daniella and Fredrik worked hard together to create their dream home. They never left decisions too long to doubt, they just went with their gut feeling and it paid off big time. This stylish home is designed around a relaxed family atmosphere where the kids can jump from sofa to sofa and storage plays an important role also.
