Smitten with this kitchen living area in particular. Gorgeous home featured on Real Living where you can also view the full house tour. Everything about this home screams my name.  Back into the classroom tomorrow. Earlier than I thought so am off to do some school work. Happy days.

Monday Mix Up

Monday, you snuck up on me you sneaky thing! All the same you are here and I am ready for you. I get back into teaching next week (My real job) which is a little scary after a couple of months out of the classroom. So this week I plan to finish off jobs around home that I have started, fold the washing, get some meals made... boring things.

First up for todays Monday mix up, I have been eyeing up this amazing super large desert print from Simply Creative which comes framed or unframed and in your choice of Black white or natural frames.

Next up, I am always eyeing up these guys. These fresh and fun prints from New Zealands You're Welcome would add that x factor to any room and are available to purchase from The Clever Design Store.

And finally, are you in the market for building or renovating in Auckland. Studio John Irving Architects are definitely ones to check out. This amazing Ponsonby home was a recent project completed by John Irving. When can I move in?

Misery Guts

Have you heard of Misery Guts before? Honestly the coolest wall art ever. I just got Frankie and Patch these two prints but there are so many more, such as vintage looking ABC charts. Great size and printed on vinyl canvas. Pop over for a look.

Fashion, food, style..

Morning to you all. Lots of exciting thing happening at Milo and Mitzy at present. Looking forward to sharing them with you. A very cool event happening for those of you in Hawkes Bay or close by that I will fill you all in on soon. Lots of painting and DIY going on in my household also thanks to Dulux so watch this space for up and coming photos. Takes a bit longer than planned with two toddlers at my feet.

First up, since picking the latest copy of Inside Out Magazine I have been very much admiring this kitchen belonging to actress Arabella Ramsay. Her entire home is a gorgeous mix of eclectic pieces, mixed with fresh, bright surfaces and wide open spaces. The perfect recipe for a happy home.

Secondly today, im sure lots of you would have heard of this amazing brand but if you haven't, you're welcome. Very much clothing of choice for me at present. Loving everything that Assembly Label is bringing out.

And lastly, I couldn't share a mix up post with you without including an amazing recipe because of course, I do LOVE cooking.... and eating food. This amazing olive and thyme tart come from here.

Happy Thursday.

Concrete Blush featuring OYOY

A long time lover of Danish brand OYOY, I am over the moon with the selection that my new favourite New Zealand online store, Concrete Blush stocks. This, along with so many other great brands that are not yet available in New Zealand such as Kristina Dam Studio, Nofred, Elements Optimal and Groovy Magnets make up the gorgeous selection at Concrete Blush. Do pop over to check this new online store out. Im predicting great things.

Quamby Home

Im a dreamer! A big time dreamer. Sometimes I find it hard to sleep at night because I have so many things going on in my head. So many ideas to pursue, so many dreams to fulfil. Whether or not I am any good at achieving those dreams is a different story! One dream that I have had for a very very long time is to own a gorgeous holiday home and turn it into boutique accommodation. Its an idea that wont escape my head. An idea I am very much working on. (much to my husbands dismay!) Hence the reason I am always searching the net, hunting for accommodation inspiration.

This beautiful Northern Tasmanian home, Quamby Home, has been turned into beautiful luxurious accommodation which is very much up my alley. Light, bright, fresh and relaxing. A dream to visit. And on another note, if anyone would like to donate me a holiday home so I can pursue my dream, feel free. (DAD?)

Eat Drink Share Hawkes Bay

Back in January I shared some exciting news in this post here, that Milo and Mitzy would be be collaborating every now and again with talented Hawkes Bay photographer, Melissa Mills. Well it brings me much excitement to introduce our second project to you all. A long time follower, fan and eater!!!! at Eat Drink Share Hawkes Bay, I thought it was only fitting that I introduced you all to them.

Eat Drink Share HB is the brainchild of the extremely driven and savvy Jennifer LeComte. It consists of The Opera Kitchen in Hastings, Smiths in Ahuriri next to Aroha and Friends, Albion Canteen in the heart of Napier and most recently, Picnic, your go to place for tasty eats and sweets.

Originally Jennifer opened The Opera Kitchen with two business partners. Now going forward on her own, she obtains such a creative outlet from the business. She thrives on pushing herself to continually grow the business as well as surrounding herself with her team of people. Jennifer insists she would probably go a little crazy if she didn't maintain challenging herself.

On a personal note, what attracts me to Eat Drink Share HB is the way that Jennifer strives to new levels in each of her four eateries. Every one of them are different in their own way. They each bring something distinctive to the table.

I also admire the design used in each building. Again, ever one being different in their own unique way but very modern and on trend.

Dream kitchen

Wednesday already, I am loving the sound of that! A quick post today. I am absolutely loving the design of this kitchen. Im loving everything about it. The black, the different materials and textures used, that amazing table and those incredible windows and doors. This kitchen was cleverly designed by Pip Norris who was brave enough to use black bench tops. Perfect.

And while we are on the subject of kitchens, I like nothing better than to have some time to myself in the kitchen cooking up delicious meals. (Though I don't get that time these days like I used to) How good do these potatoes look for your next dinner party.

How good are they right? See the recipe here. Happy hump day.

Monday mix up on a Tuesday as crazy as it sounds!

Welcome back to those here in New Zealand who have enjoyed a long weekend.  A short week for us which is absolute music to my ears, although there are a few things to fit in. A Monday mix up for you all today even though we are now into Tuesday.

As a long time fan of Sydney's C + M Studio, I wanted to share these images of one of their recent renovations to which they opened the doors to the public. As well as getting a glimpse at the amazing newly refurbished home, everything inside of it was also up for sale to the public.

Last year I was extremely lucky to work along side of the talented Virginia of Forestry. I was given the opportunity to put my hand at designing a blanket for her. The grid/circle blanket sold out quickly but luckily for us, Virginia is still producing the goods. I am in awe of her latest range and think I might have to add to my growing pile of Forestry woollen blankets.

And lastly, searching for that perfect last minute valentines gift? Bearded NZ, which has recently changed ownership, is certainly set for new and exciting things. I can vouch that their products are amazing and of incredible quality. The husband is a massive fan of the hair balm. You can thank me later for the outstanding gift idea!
