What an amazing start to the weekend. Spring is definitely in the air. I am heading out with the hubby on the farm to check the new lambs soo but in the mean time I have been wanting to show you the home of a favorite blogger of mine. Desiree from Vosgesparis does black and white oh so well. Her industrial style mixed with a Scandinavian feel works to a tee. House envy for sure!
If you are like me, you are always on the look out for cool quirky
artwork. I have just had an 'aha' moment! (actually a steal someone's
idea moment) How awesome is the huge menu hanging on the wall of this
amazing Buenos Aires flat found via Full House?
I am thinking I could create something like this, sometime, somehow.
Any ideas for me? or where I could get one? I will do some research and
let you know what I come up with.
A masculine styled house embracing neutral colours with an edge. Found via Interior Originals. I am in the middle of making a photo wall using black frames and black and white family images like the one above. I am also going to bribe my nephew and nieces into creating some colourful artwork to go with it that I will also frame, just to add a bit a bit of bright! What are your latest projects on the go?
An amazing wee Swedish home found thanks to Emmas Design Blogg. The couple who reside here with their daughter also run their business The White Briefs from here too. I am loving their polished concrete floors mixed with the white materials. They must have a super cleaner on hand!!!
Gosh doesn't sunshine just make a world of difference? The house is
open, the washing is on the line, the lawns are drying out. It just
makes you feel so much better right? And to add to the excitement, our
kitchen is nearly finished. Today is the last day of seeing builders
painters etc and although it has been nice to have them, really I am
looking forward to seeing the back of them! Have you checked out the Living Agency before? Its an amazing website showcasing the works of two photographers based in France. Above is a house that they photographed from the South of France.
On another note, please check out and 'like' the new Milo and Mitzy Facebook page to stay in touch with all of the latest goings on.
